Brownie Pembroke is one of the seven main characters of the series. She's introduced as an upbeat snack-loving corgi attending Hachiko High School when an apawcalypse occurs.
Appurrance[]
Brownie appears as a beige dog with white paws, perpetually pink cheeks and bright orange hair that's sharp in texture. She wears pink and yellow hair clips, but in Purrfect Apawcalypse: Patches' Inferno, her hair clips are changed to be purple and pink. Her ears are round, pointy and stand upright and her tail is short. Her eyes are a dark magenta.
Purrsonality[]
Brownie is an exuberant jokester who makes friends easily and is immediately attracted to anyone who's super fun, cool and unabashedly full of themselves. She often offends sensitive people and only occasionally puts in the effort to be more tactful. In spite of her impulsiveness she's somewhat of a voice of reason for her friends, prioritizing action over feelings. Brownie is capable of being sensitive especially when it comes to things like crushes and romance.
Purrfect Apawcalypse/Purrfect Apawcalypse: Love at Furst Bite[]
In Purrfect Apawcalypse 1 you find Brownie in the bathroom. She comes with Olive because she is in pursuit of chocolate, and she wants to know what it tastes like before a perceived inevitable death. Going to the library or gym after meeting her guarantees she and Olive wont end up eating chocolate.
Purrfect Apawcalypse: Purrgatory Furever[]
In Purrfect Apawcalypse 2 she is once again in the bathroom, the difference being that she's just hiding from Sparky because he's been 'acting creepy'. Sparky (possessed by Ginger), breaks her leg later on, before Coco and Olive save her and Angel.
Purrfect Apawcalypse: Patches' Infurno[]
In Purrfect Apawcalypse 3 Brownie helps Coco with home ec. class, later going on to replace lunch lady Piggy during lunch. During home ec., the player (a.k.a Patches) has the opportunity to poison her using chocolate retrieved from Doug for baking his cake. The canon option is to not bake the chocolate into the cake and have her live through the game's events in their entirety.
