Coco Grimalkin is one of the seven main characters of the series. She's introduced as a killer witch cat in the basement of Hachiko High School, and is instrumental to the start of the apawcalypse there.
Appurrance[]
Coco appears as a black cat with spiky hair, a long rounded tail, and her frayed ears, eyes and whiskers all point upwards. She has round short eyebrows and yellow eyes.
Purrsonality[]
Coco angry with Olive
Coco, a talented magic user, is a loud and angry cat with a short tempurr. She takes her work very seriously and is so goal oriented that she can furget things like friends or morals. Stress fuels her but too much of it can cause her to break down. She's mean, arrogant and at times violent.
She'll do anything to protect (or avenge) her loved ones.

Coco, after searching for her little brother's killer for weeks, finds out that they attend Hachiko High School (and also that they are prone to saying "Hello Puppy". She breaks into the school and creates a magic barrier, trapping everyone inside while the cat demons she summoned tear through the school population in search of the killer. Olive and their pals manage to survive and convince Coco to let them help her find her killer, especially if it means the rest of the surviving students will be spared. Coco allows it. Olive manages to find Patches and Angel steals his body. Coco winds up becoming friends with the dogs.
Purrfect Apawcalypse: Purrgatory Furever[]
Coco hosts Olive's birthday party at the Grimalkin Estate, but after the thousand or so dead dogs she killed come back as zombies, she takes it upon herself to make things right. She's wrought with guilt over having mowed down almost every student at Hachiko High, but is more interested in solving her problems with violence. She lies about being able to heal the zombies in order to get them on their side.
Purrfect Apawcalypse: Patches' Infurno[]
Still wrought with guilt (and less interested in solving every problem with violence), Coco manages to get the Elite Magic Club to help fully revive the zombie dogs, so long as she can prove that cats and dogs can get along. She sets up a Hachiko x Kemono Communal School Day and has her friends help organize things. She's incredibly stressed about making sure the day goes off without a hitch, but also stressed about distancing herself from her murderous past.

- Likes: Family loyalty, working, flowers, fish, milk, Brownie.
- Dislikes: Interruptions, stupidity, dogs (until meeting Olive and pals).
- Coco and Brownie are the second confirmed queer couple in the PA series. The first are Angel and Patches, though they've broken up. For pride month 2021, Denny made art commemorating this couple.
- Coco comes from an upper middle class household.
