Game Description[]
One thousand students from the Hachiko High School massacre have risen from the dead to crash Olive's birthday party! Trapped in the Grimalkin Estate, Olive and their pals will have to figure out how these dogs were resurrected, why Sparky's acting so strange, and why Angel's old body is out to get them. But remember: Just because you're trying to survive the zombie apawcalypse, doesn't mean you can't try and make your friends happy!
Plot[]
Chapter 1[]
Olive arrives at the Grimalkin Estate after being chased by a horde of zombie dogs. They and their friends have gathered to celebrate Olive's birthday, but unfortunately the festivities have been postponed because of the sudden resurrection of all the dogs that died several days prior. Olive nervously checks in on their friends scattered about the house. Angel is quietly keeping watch on the front door from the living room, Sparky is paranoid and sleep-deprived in the kitchen, and Brownie is chilling out in the bathroom like always. Coco is holed up in her room, focusing on undoing whatever has caused the dogs to return as zombies. Olive gathers their friends and upon finding three keys, hears a scream from the bedroom, to which they answer by unlocking the door and entering.
Chapter 2[]
They find Coco being attacked by Angel's old body, now zombified. The zombie avoids being apprehended by Sparky by tranquilizing him, after which he steals Coco's wand and reveals his true identity: Patches' spirit possessing Angel's old body. Upon falling asleep, Sparky is immediately possessed by some unknown spirit and helps Patches attack the others. Brownie and Angel run out and hold the door while Coco and Olive attempt to find weapons to fight them with. Olive instead, pacifist as always, suggests they use the meat in the fridge to gain favor with the zombies. It nearly works until Patches slices his way through in search of them. The zombies trip him and Coco manages to steal her want back, but in the haze of her magic, Patches escapes. They cut their losses and check on Brownie and Angel who are getting their bones broken by the still-deranged Sparky. Coco uses her magic to force the spirit of Ginger out of him. The five head to the living room to recuperate.
Chapter 3[]
Sparky, eager to undo the damage he's done, gets Coco a first-aid kit with Olive. He asks her how she plans to "take care" of Ginger and Patches. She walks him through how to draw a magic circle and use the wand to banish souls into it. Sparky and Olive enter the woods to look for Ginger and Patches, and find Ginger crying alone in a cellar. Sparky reveals that he's stolen Coco's wand in preparation for banishing Ginger, but Olive steals the wand back in order to stop him. Ginger reveals that Patches abandoned her, likely due to her failure in killing anyone using Sparky's body. The lights go out and the wand is stolen from Olive. Ginger recognizes the culprit as Patches, to which Sparky leaves, frustrated with her undying love for the psychopath killer. Olive consoles Ginger and follows Sparky out of the cellar.
Chapter 4[]
Olive and Sparky run home together and at the front door, run into Ginger again. She's given thought to how kind they are and how awful Patches is, and agrees to help them. They find Patches with Coco, Angel and Brownie trapped in the bedroom. He attempts to convince Ginger to side with him again but she instead sends a blast of magic hurtling at him, forcing his spirit out of Angel's old body. Patches' soul is bound and lowered into a portal to Infurno. He grabs Olive's leg and takes them down with him. Ginger attempts to close the portal, but it's too late.
Chapter 5[]
Olive and Patches wake up in Purrgatory, having failed to make it all the way to Infurno. Olive convinces Patches to stay close, given that their friends may come to their rescue at any moment. There they can chat, give Patches a hug, a punch, whatever. Finally they decide to sleep, but promise to save Patches. Sure enough, Olive is pulled out of Purrgatory through a portal. Their friends suggest they leave Patches behind, but they convince them that there's a better way. Patches wakes up in the living room, trapped in a magic collar that prevents him from any evildoing. Everyone laughs at his predicament as he threatens to kill them in their sleep.
